The mission of the Caribbean American Nurses Association is to contribute to the improvement of Standards of Practice nationally and internationally, by promoting research, education and training, scholarship and mentorship.

CANA will participate in leading change, supporting and promoting healthcare for underserved communities, so that individuals and families will be empowered to effectively engage in health promotion and disease prevention.
